GW-EPIC is a program evaluation and research consulting firm specializing in working with health and human service organizations and grant making entities. Since GW-EPIC was incorporated in Florida, we have worked on a wide variety of projects, including substance-abuse treatment and prevention, homeless programs, and school activities, with organizations of all sizes.
GW-EPIC has been the evaluator or research partner on projects funded by federal and local government as well as national and local foundations.
§ Needs Assessment & Grant Research Includes conducting the initial needs assessment, researching and developing list of grant opportunities; and project proposal – action plan, timeline for completion, and structural framework for applying for the grant.
§ Grant Proposal Writing grant proposals includes letter of intent; planning, developing and writing the proposal; and editing.
§ Related Services Commonly include program development, annual budget or program budget development, and sustainability plan.
GW-EPIC follows AEA’s Guiding Principles for Evaluators as a beacon for how we plan and implement projects. These principles include: (1) systematic inquiry; (2) competence; integrity and honesty; (3) respect for people; and (4) responsibilities for general and public welfare.
Our projects employ a variety of quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-method approaches, to address research and evaluation questions. In the quantitative domain, we utilize various descriptive, correlational, and comparative designs.
